Hi, I'm Rose
I am 13 years old and I'm in the 8th grade at Glenfield Middle School in Montclair, NJ. Five years ago, I formed Rose & Co. Candlemakers with my dad.

My dad and I started making candles at home because of his allergies to the many toxins in paraffin wax candles. We made extra and gave some as a welcome present to our new neighbors. The candles were so popular, that I decided to have a candle sale at our house and then I moved the business to pop-up markets, artisan fairs and a website!

I like to sell my candles to share my candle making talents with my community and bring people together. And we donate a portion of our profits to charities that support Girls' education everywhere!
