WHAT IS THE STANDARD SHIPPING TIME?
- Every product will be shipped to you directly from the individual maker or brand. This model helps reduce shipping costs and environmental impact. While the shipping time may be longer for some items, we promise that it’s worth the wait!
WHAT IS THE SHIPPING COST?
- We offer free shipping throughout Canada and the United States for orders over $99 CAD. Any order under $99 CAD is a flat fee of $9 for shipping.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?
- We currently only ship to North America. We may make some exceptions for international orders - contact us for more details.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO OFFSET THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF ONLINE SHOPPING?
We partner with Trees for the Future (TREES) to plant a tree for ever order placed on SΛM & LΛNCE in order to offset the carbon footprint of shipping.
TREES is an international development nonprofit that meets a triple bottom line by planting trees: poverty alleviation, hunger eradication, and healing the environment.
Through their Forest Garden Approach they train farmers to plant and manage Forest Gardens that sustainably feed families, raise their incomes by 400 percent, and end deforestation.
They currently work across 5 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa: Cameroon, Kenya, Senegal, Tanzania, and Uganda.
HOW DOES SΛM & LΛNCE GIVE BACK?
- We believe our products are only as beautiful as the environments they spring from. Every dollar you spend supports fair wages, safe working environments, and a direct investment into women entrepreneurs. A minimum of 1% of our sales, year-round are donated to nonprofits aligned with our core beliefs and equality of helping women.
WHY DOES THE PRODUCT I RECEIVED LOOK DIFFERENT THAN THE PHOTO ONLINE?
- Many of our products are handmade by artisans and there may be slight variations in the products you receive. We encourage you to embrace the uniqueness of your new product but if for any reason you are not satisfied please contact our customer care team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
DO YOU ALLOW RETURNS?
- We guarantee the quality and individuality of all our products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days by contacting our customer care team at email@example.com. Refunds can only be made within 120 days of purchase. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable but you will not be required to re-pay the shipping cost for an exchange.
