After moving to Toronto from Australia 3 years ago, Emmi Theodoridis was fascinated by how smell could bring up memories or emotions that would comfort her when she was feeling homesick. Whether it was cooking a meal that reminded her of family get-togethers or something as simple as a lady wearing her mum's perfume in the street one day. The scents comforted her and transported her home; that is how Elysian Fragrances' idea was born and in 2019, she set about creating a luxury natural candle that could allow people to experience the power of scents.
